Geisha's Blade 芸者の刃 the first and only online sword shop in the Philippines, based in Metro Manila, that offers you the finest Japanese katana or samurai swords in the country. Our swords are forged in the city of Long Quan, in the mountains of Zheijiang Province, China which is known in making the best swords in the world with a history of over 2,500 years.

Geisha's Blade 芸者の刃 was formed by Jaimee L and Aldwin P, both have a love for the Japanese tradition, culture, and arts. Our online sword shop started out last 2006 when we began selling some of our personal collections. Our collections have all been sold and the number of buyer inquiries have grown. What started out as a hobby has now become a business endeavor. Thus, Geisha's Blade 芸者の刃 was born.

Currently, we provide Shinkens (modern crafted katana) specifically made for tameshigiri (cutting practice). Our swords are very sharp and are 100% hand forged, heat treated, water/oil quenched, and then polished by hand. Our current line of blades are made of 1060 carbon steel. From time to time, depending on buyer inquries/requests, we also produce blades made of 1095 carbon steel, 9260 spring steel, and T10 tool steel. We also offer sword cleaning kits and sword stands. In the future, we'll be offering iaito (non-sharpened katana) made of 1045 carbon steel specifically for iaido. Although the edge is dull, they are still made the same way as our functional swords. This way, you can practice iai or kata with the same weight and feel of a real sword without the risk of cutting or injuring yourself or someone else.

No need to purchase outside the country and worry about facing Customs and paying unreasonable tax that is twice or thrice the amount of the sword... or worst, your sword being confiscated.

Our katanas are fully functional offering its own unique design. Our blades were forged using 1050 high carbon steel, heat tempered, water quenched for a consistent hardness, and then hand polished. Our swords are sharp and can be disassembled. Awesome display sword that can be used as a light duty cutter. Our katanas are BRAND NEW and NEVER BEEN USED to cut with, but owning the same katana, we can say it can cut light targets easily. 

Now you can own one without worrying about facing Customs and paying unreasonable and expensive tax. Or worst, your sword being consfiscated!

Our swords are NOT made in Japan, thiey are made in China just like all the functional swords out in the market. You cannot get a sword for this price in Japan. If you manage to get one, it's made of aluminum alloy that has a blunt edge and used only for iaido practice, not for cutting. Real katanas in Japan are called "Nihonto" and are only made by licensed swordsmiths that can only make a number of swords in a year. Words cannot justify how beautiful this sword is, so please just refer to the pictures above. We described the sword as best as we can, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask and we will gladly answer them to the best of our knowledge.
